UTD Down to Earth Podcast - Making The Dean's List

During my current (and final) semester as an undergraduate I was notified that I made the Dean's List (4.0GPA, Top 10% in the school) for Fall 2024. This is something that I typically would not think much of, but there are two things that changed that for me.

• One: I was the only student in the SESS (Geosciences) department to achieve this for the Fall 2024 semester.

• Two: It was in my senior year, consisting of only upper level geoscience courses.

  • Igneous & Metamorphic Petrology

  • Hydrogeology & Aqueous Geochemistry

  • Sedimentology & Stratigraphy

  • Physics of the Earth

Now, because I was the only student in our department to make the list, Dr. Robert Stern asked if I would be willing to do a podcast with him and talk about my experience a little bit. This was the first of what will hopefully turn into a series fro future UTD Geoscience students and I'm proud to have been the first guest.
